Yes. Inmates do not have direct internet access. You write a letter on paper, put it in an envelope, and mail it to the address shown on the profile. The inmate replies the same way.
You can use a P.O. Box for privacy. Many facilities require a return address on the envelope. Read our Safety page for more guidance.

The inmate themselves (via outside help) or an authorized friend or family member. The submitter must be 18 or older.
Listings are annual. You will receive renewal notices before expiration. Subscriptions can be set to auto-renew.
Common reasons include explicit content, threats, references to illegal activity, missing required information, or low-quality photos. You will receive an email with the specific reason and can revise and resubmit.
Premium listings include a gallery of additional photos. Basic listings include one profile photo. All photos are moderated.
